The Yield+Infrastructure Fund aims to acquire a portfolio of yield-producing real estate assets Australia wide, in areas considered as likely to benefit from urban renewal and/or the construction of new transport and community infrastructure by 2012.
The Fund's objective is to provide investors with an ongoing annual cash yield of approximately 5.0% and an annual compound return on equity exceeding 18% per annum, net of Manager's fees and Fund level expenses. This level of return will be achieved through careful identification of select “value-add” opportunities, active management of the portfolio, and ultimate re-zoning and development of specific sites.
Thus far, the Fund has secured sixteen properties ranging in value from $5.5 to $42 million. The portfolio includes a mixture of yield producing assets and development sites in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
