Environmental, Social and Governance

EG Funds Management recognises the increasing importance of incorporating Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria throughout the investment management process. EGFM believes that it is part of its fiduciary duty to consider all factors which affect its stakeholders, including ESG considerations. EGFM incorporates ESG principles throughout the lifecycle of the investment process including the acquisition, management and the disposal of assets.

As a boutique property fund manager EGFM recognises that the assets EGFM invests in have numerous stakeholders including investors, tenants, community and the environment. To assist in identifying and managing these interests and risks EGFM has created a property specific risk matrix which it integrates into its portfolio management strategy.

EGFM actively monitors ESG trends in the market to ensure that all risks and opportunities are reflected in the management of its portfolio. EGFM is also a signatory to the UN Principles of Responsible Investment (UNPRI) and aims to incorporate the 6 principles of responsible investment across the business.
